Health and Safety Management Policy

The General Health and Safety Policy is the document of rules and regulations that will be followed in school with dated 16.01.2023.

Griffins International School believes in committing to provide safe and healthy working environment for the prevention of potential injuries and ill-health in the school campus and school buses. It also takes care of the stake holders by creating awareness of the risks and threats of ill health. Safe environment is one of our core values. We strive to be a leader in safety excellence in the educational sector. In pursuit of this, we are committed to the following:

  • Maintain and continually improve our school system to eliminate hazards and reduce health & safety risks to all our stakeholders related to Griffins International School.
  • Incorporate of appropriate health & safety criteria into daily decisions for selection of the process, infrastructure and technology, performance appraisal of individuals and appointments of the governing bodies of safety policy in key positions.
  • Comply and endeavour to exceed all applicable health & safety legal and other requirements.
  • Integrate health & safety procedures and best practices into every operational activity with assigned line-functional responsibilities at all levels.
  • Involve of teaching, non-teaching staffs, and students along with the parent’s representative in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment through consultation and participation.
  • Inculcate safety culture by visible leadership and empowerment of the key positions in the school.
  • Ensure required competency to enable our employees and associates for working safely. Proper training to the safety officer of the school will enrich the potential capabilities to think more of the school and develop the system more promptly.
  • Promptly report incidents, investigate, share crucial learnings, and prevent recurrences.
  • Compatibility with the global safety standards in enhancing school’s health and safety standards and align with health & safety codes and practices maintained globally.
  • Set safety & health metrics as indicators of excellence, monitor progress, and continually improve health and safety performance.
  • Always ensure the availability of appropriate resources to fully implement and communicate this policy to all stakeholders by suitable means and periodically review its relevance in continuously with the dynamic environment.
